Vivo

Salam.

1  Yesterday was good. Alhamdulillah. Hopefully today and tomorrow will be even better. Amin.

2  Here is The Last Lecture video by a former Carnegie Mellon University professor, Randy Pausch.

Randy Pausch had dreams. I have dreams too. Pausch had achieved most of them. But, have I achieved some of them, at least? Ah. Sometimes I care too much about finding my dreams, really. But have I ever thought about finding what my deed is, and what I am going to leave this world as my source of benefit for others, because it is part of my responsibility as a person?

3  "Before thee We sent (messengers) to many nations, and We afflicted the nations with suffering and adversity, that they might learn humility." (Al-Quran 6:42)

4  When something is in short supply, its value goes up. Thus, be grateful, thankful, and appreciative for what you have, for what you have had, and what you will have.

5  Kenak ada indah urang nok pandei rasa ingga ngan kita bila kita berbuat bait ? What we write, say and do are not meant to show off how goody-goody we are. We are not doing it for anyone.

 6
Boy, oh boy. Lemme tell ya. My mak ngan abah are not perfect, but they are the BEST parents my brother and I could ever have. I am so very thankful that I was born into this family. Alhamdulillah. And no, I am not rubbing it in anyone's faces. I am merely expressing my gratitude. Mun urang lain puji melambong pasal gerek sidak tapi sekda dianok/diingga, sikkan Titil dianok/diingga indah mun muji mak ngan abah dikmpun nak?

7  I am seeing a crossroad ahead of me. I am nearing it. So, which direction should I take? The less travelled path, or the other one?

8  Selamat menyambut Bulan Bahasa Kebangsaan. Saya sayangkan Bahasa Malaysia, tapi, entri blog ini ditulis dalam Bahasa Inggeris. Adakah ini merupakan satu ironi? Ataupun, hipokrisi? Hm. Entahlah.
